Bad grotto, unfriendly service, the restaurant unclean and old. You didn't feel welcome as a guest. Never again! Didn't even deserve the one star, but you have to click something.

Great service and atmosphere, would highly recommend the meals and best for kids also. Acquired some beverages while we waited, superb ambiance here. New meals added every month, we were genuinely pleased with the selection here. Thank you so much for making our family special event absolutely remarkable! My brother had a fantastic birthday, we will be coming back again. The servers here had been really professional and clearly like their work.

Quaint, old German pub with a very, very good kitchen and very moderate prices.The innkeeper is a real original who lives for his job. And the herb snaps are also very, very good.

The atmosphere is, so how should I describe it * especially *, here you can find everything what had grandma and aunt in the closets, but that's what makes the flair. There is always something to discover Kurriositäten and quirks ... I am thinking also the host of a kind of gentlemen. We had a lot of fun and even though it might seem a bit grumpy .... completely peaceful ? The food is fresh, very very tasty and prepared with love. Here you get more quality for your money, very good price / performance ratio! The toilets, yeah ok, better days have seen, but really I want to eat well and not camp on the toilet facility .... Well ... The waitress was nice, the food was okay. But you can see the place its old here and there but a little too much.

The food was really good. Very tasty and very plentiful. The meat tender. The boss of the house always up for a joke. Price performance absolutely great. I'll be back.

Very unfriendly host, dirty tablecloth and glasses. Cobwebs in the corners and very musty.Not recommended.

Delicious German home cooking, highly recommended! BUT: service to us very rude. Probably because the inn was designed more for the Ü40 generation. Generally more for older people. And we were disturbed, age 20-26 years. Pity!

Excellent cuisine, at least duck, what I've ordered. Local beers - to me no one was excellent. There should be Velkopopovicky Kozel available - Schwejk's favourites one.

Great service and great food!

There were three of us here to test the venue for our upcoming Christmas party: First of all, the very positive! The food tasted really good to all of us. Everything was apparently made from fresh ingredients directly à point. The meat was tender and - all of us - mushroom sauce - just as tasty. The Leipzig all sorts of vegetables were cooked a bit soft, but still in a good range; some spice was missing there. The advance salad plate had an absolutely excellent dressing (!) And was nice and spicy overall. I give the four stars mainly for the FOOD and the service. The restaurant is a family business and has been run by two brothers for several years. The landlord is friendly, the cook (brother) is even friendlier. Overall, we had no complaints about the service. The type of beer on offer (Feldschlößchen) was not quite ours, but you can alternatively switch to the "Schwarzer" - both draft beers. As far as the decoration and furnishings are concerned, there is apparently no "happy hand" for the interior. Although it is a Saxon restaurant with a "rustic Erzgebirge flair", we found the interior and decoration to take some getting used to: In all possible gaps, "placeholders" were set up in whatever color and shape. The dark wooden walls and ceilings in the dining rooms, however, give a very cozy character and fit into the restaurant. However, since we did not want to live here, but only wanted to eat, I just rated - mainly - only the really delicious food and the service with o. A. Stars. - Oh yes: the portions are really plentiful. Had the Hubertus toast (you can imagine something smaller under that) and got BANNIG SATT - my companions were also fed up with their food.
